Programs and Admission
At MK Seminary, you will learn from teachers who have rich experience in ministry. They teach faithfully to God’s word as they seek to glorify the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ by equipping men and women for the holistic transformation of the church and society. We are offering degree and master’s study programs in Amharic and English. Depending on your preference, you will be engaged in the study of theology and social study programs alongside a supportive community of scholars.
Batchlor in Bible and Theology - በእንግሊዘኛና በአማርኛ ቋንቋ
Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theology with two emphases: Academic and Pastoral and Theology emphases/ in the English Language.
This program teaches biblical and theological courses to help students know and defend biblical doctrines, methods, and resources, and to help students understand the whole Bible better and engage in various Christian ministries in the church. This is a four-year degree program. The academic entrance level is in line with the government’s set points for joining private higher institutions.
Batchlor in Mission and Intercultural Studies - EN
This program focuses on preparing students for missions and Christian services in any culture or subculture. The courses are interdisciplinary to prepare students to analyze the core elements of and work in any culture within the country or in other countries. This is a four-year degree program. The academic entrance level is in line with the government’s set points for joining private higher institutions.
Batchlor in Peace and Development - EN
The Peace and Development Degree Program offers interdisciplinary courses to enable students to acquire relevant and scientific knowledge and skills in peace building and community development in order to work as peace builders and community development workers. This is a four-year degree program. The academic entrance level is in line with the government’s set points for joining private higher institutions.
Batchlor in Leadership and Management - EN
This program prepares students to translate various leadership and management theories and approaches into practice by customizing them to their specific context. The courses enable students to gain adequate knowledge and skills to work in churches, non-profit organizations, and business companies. This is a four-year degree program. MA in Biblical and Theological Studies - EN
The program enables students to cultivate deep roots in the biblical and theological traditions of Christianity, engage in critical reflections on the application of the Bible and Christian theology in diverse cultural contexts, and serve in various Christian ministries effectively. MA in Peace and Development - EN
The Masters in Peace and Development Program equips students with the knowledge and skills of analyzing and responding to conflicts in a development context. This is a two-year degree program.
